I bought these for my dresssge pony who always has soft swelling and
windgalls on his hind legs. After putting these on above his fetlocks for
just one night his legs were noticeably smaller. After wearing them for a
week his legs were shrinking so much they were falling down. These bands are
fab and well worth the money.

extremely stiff in the mornings, whilst stabled. Having used the bands there
is a definite improvement in her mobility and she seems a lot more

Many thanks for the magnetic anklet that you supplied me with a few months ago.  My knee seems much easier since wearing it and I have less discomfort and than I did previously, and as a bonus my knee hasn’t given way since.   I’m really pleased with the result. Rob Tonks

 

My equine therapist Georgina Langley ICAT Dip recommended I use Mnetic-band bracelets on my horse Merlyn as he had an accident in the field causing a lameness which my vets could not diagnose. Georgina with her treatments and rehabilitation had made a huge difference to him but with his stilted hock movements and old age changes to his hocks Georgina recommended the Mnetic-bands in conjunction with a joint supplement which was also recommended. After 3 months we had seen a big improvement and Merlyn started working again. Merlyn then came home from rehabilitation at Georginas yard. After 6 months he was back to doing everything he was previously and not lame. Thank you to Georgina and the Mnetic-bands!

Training session prior to leaving for France to compete next week- used your super dressage pad, my stallion sweats a lot when worked and with this pad he really stays cool. I find whatever it is made from has a great cushioned effect on his back helping him to lift his back and go ‘through ‘ more. As you can see perfect size for him and for me with ‘short’ legs. Thank you I am delighted with this product.

We have been using the Kool numnahs from the start of the 2014-2015 hunting season. Having hunted for up to approximately 4 hours in 80 degrees of heat, I find when removing the saddle at the end of the day, that the pressure points under the saddle are dry and the rest of the area is much drier than with a conventional pad or numnah. I have also found that one particular horse, which starts off stiff in the back, that the use of this numnah has prevented that and his movement is now much freer. The reason for this I am unsure of, but he is certainly performing better.

I use the numnahs for both exercise and hunting, as they are easy to wash and very fast drying. I have no problem in recommending them to any horse owner.

Over the last few months we have used the “Kool” numnah. It has been used on a number of different types of horses and found it to be extremely good. It is easy to clean in a washing machine and has not at present shown any type of wear. It seems to  fit all shapes of horse and is unique to the point that we have found that horses sweat less under it, once the saddle is removed after exercise. It has been the only numnah that we use on our horses as the rest of them use thick cotton pads . It would be interesting to trial a pad  with the Kool fabric and design.

In conclusion I would be happy to use these products on my horses when they become available to the public.

Comments: this is a really well fitting numnah, sits well up into the gullet of the saddle and doesn’t move. The material is amazing, my ponies back is really cool and much less sweaty after a good work out with a lot of canter, so stops any over heating of her back. This is especially important when competing on long distance rides.

Just recently I have had a “Kool” numnah made to my own design, to fit precisely under a Strada dressage or endurance saddle. Rather than a pocket, my numnah has a double layer of the 3D spacer fabric just under the panels of the saddle. I have tried it out on my own horse and have found that it performs extremely well. The flexibility of the two layers of fabric ensures that there is no friction against the horse’s back and also guarantees maximum airflow. The permeability of the fabric is particularly beneficial for Strada saddles, because the special foam in the saddle panels softens under the influence of body heat, which can penetrate upwards into the panels, but any excess can escape around the circumference.

 

On a practical note: the numnah is easy to look after, light-weight and would be useful for any number of applications. I would not hesitate to recommend it.
